Karen Wood matches celebrities with fashion product at her backstage
soirees

Angeles-No one leaves one of Karen Wood's parties empty-handed.
Robert Downey Jr., Jeff Bridges, Russell Crowe and Philip Seymour
Hoffman were among the guests she entertained at one of her successful
soirees earlier this month, and the party favors included Scott
Kay platinum and diamond bracelets, Terra Plana footwear, Danier
leather jackets and Marchon eyewear. If you're imaging that it takes
a hefty budget and impossible connections to draw such heavy hitters,
you're only partially right. Her guests are normally hard to come
by, but they were provided courtesy of the Screen Actors Guild awards
show, where they were the presenters for the evening's categories,
and the party favors were supplied by companies hungry for the opportunity
to gain access to the sought-after celebrity clientele...
